San Antonio, Texas's Riverwalk district is very lovely and the perfect place to spend a weekend. There are numerous very nice restaurants and it is a lovely walk down a canal to get to the end. All along the riverwalk are different kinds of entertainment, and there are even boat rides up and down the canal. Sometimes there are even events such as canal parades.
If you are ever in Texas, this is definitely an attraction worth checking out.
