My April 2021 trip to Cozumel was my first vacation taken exclusively in a resort. This isn't my favorite style of vacation, as I love mixing with the locals, but it was still a nice experience. I went for my girlfriend's birthday. There were a few firsts on the trip, which I enjoyed.
I parasailed for the first time on this trip (RIP the hat in the picture). It was super fun! I was in a harness with a parachute floating above the sea as the boat pulled me. I actually didn't know exactly what parasailing was when I signed up and I thought it would be a lot scarier than it was. I also went on a catamaran for the first time. It was nice taking the catamaran out, relaxing, and scuba diving. We saw many fish that I'd never seen before. I wish I'd gotten to spend time with more locals, but I still had a great time.
