The chef's tasting menu at Chaka Khan was the best meal I've ever had in my life. The dish above is a perfectly seasoned sweet and savory fish with fruit, onion, and nuts. Every dish is a perfectly prepared and well thought out seasonal delicacy, and my mind was blown the whole time.
I wish my Spanish had been better at the time so I could explain what was in the above dish, my favorite of the whole tasting menu. It was primarily thinly sliced, expertly cooked beef on a bed of pureed sweet potato. The black vegetables on top were very earthy and complex, but I'm not quite sure what they are. If you are ever in Barcelona, please do yourself the world's biggest favor and ensure that you make a reservation at Chaka Khan.
